Sales routes are used to track a salesperson’s customers in his/her sales territory. By defining sales routes you can create reports on customers assigned to these sales routes
Entering Sales Routes
- First set up the Sales Routes your company is going to use
- Once you have set up these sales routes you can then subsequently assign these to specific customers
- Sales route reports can be generated that show sales histories for customers on the sales route over various periods
- These reports can used by the salesperson to monitor his/her customer’s usage rate of items and predict the need for the customer to re-order
- To see a list of already created sales routes, edit a sales route, or create a new sales route: Settings > Value Lists > Other Value Lists (M-Z) > Sales Routes
