Use the Groups screens to set up the groups your company would like to use to track and organize products.
Product Groups
- Groups include Categories, and Categories include Sub-Categories
- Groups, categories, and sub-categories provide the organizing structure for products
- This same organizational structure is the basis on which products are indexed and presented in eCommerce modules
- Go to Settings > Value Lists > Product Only Lists > Groups to see a list of groups, edit a group, or create a new group
Product Group Fields

| Group Code | Three number code that identifies the group. An entry in this field is required. |
| Description | Description identifying the group. An entry in this field is required. |
| Web | Should products in this group be displayed in the eCommerce modules? |
