Accolent ERP includes several KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) that deliver graphical visualization dashboards for important performance metrics. All the data is summarized as of the end-of-business on the prior day and cached to improve performance. The sales dashboard shows the (1) number of invoices and sales for the current month compared to the same period in the previous month, (2) sales by warehouse MTD, (3) sales by warehouse YTD, (4) sales by salesperson for top 5 salespersons MTD, (5) sales by salesperson for top 5 salespersons YTD and (6) sales by month for the current partial month and the previous 11 full calendar months.

General Definitions

  • All KPIs are presented as of end-of-day for the previous business day; this is the date of the dashboard shown in parentheses in the title of the dashboard
  • Today means as of the date of the dashboard
  • All sales are in dollars (NOT qty) unless specified otherwise
  • For graphs, sales are presented in $000s
  • All sales values are expressed as the sum of the extended price (i.e., excluding freight, labor and sales tax) in order to be able to be tied back to product sales
  • MTD means “month to date” and is measured from the beginning of the current calendar month to date of the dashboard
  • Last MTD means “last month to date” and is measured from the beginning of the previous calendar month to the same day in the previous month as the date of the dashboard
  • YTD means “year to date” and is measured from the beginning of the calendar (NOT fiscal) year to the date of the dashboard
  • Top 5 Salespersons means the 5 highest salespersons by YTD (NOT MTD) sales
  • All graphs showing 12 months show the current partial month and the prior 11 full calendar months
