Accolent ERP includes several KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) that deliver graphical visualization dashboards for important performance metrics. All the data is summarized as of the end-of-business on the prior day and cached to improve performance. The sales composition dashboard shows the (1) Sales by Category for the MTD compared to YTD, (2) Sales by Product for the MTD compared to YTD, (3) Sales by Category for the MTD for the top 10 Categories (4) Sales by Category for the YTD for the top 10 Categories (5) Sales by Product for the MTD for the top 10 Products (6) Sales by Product for the YTD for the top 10 Products.

General Definitions

  • All KPIs are presented as of end-of-day for the previous business day; this is the date of the dashboard shown in parentheses in the title of the dashboard
  • All sales are in dollars (NOT qty) unless specified otherwise
  • For graphs, sales are presented in $000s
  • All sales values are expressed as the sum of the extended price (i.e., excluding freight, labor and sales tax) in order to be able to be tied back to product sales
  • MTD means “month to date” and is measured from the beginning of the current calendar month to the date of the dashboard
  • YTD means “year to date” and is measured from the beginning of the calendar year to the date of the dashboard
  • The Categories for the Top 10 Sales by Category MTD and YTD are selected based on the YTD sales and are displayed highest to lowest from left to right
  • The Products for the Top 10 Sales by Product MTD and YTD are selected based on the YTD sales and are displayed highest to lowest from left to right
