The Accolent ERP Power BI Sales by Salesperson Dashboard provides extensive sales data that is automatically refreshed from your Accolent ERP database daily. The Power BI Sales by Salesperson dashboard shows sales by salesperson by warehouse by month with a date range slicer. Over the date range, you can see sales by salespersons and can rank top and bottom sales by product.

Sales by Salesperson Dashboard

  • Open the Sales by Salesperson Dashboard.

  • The selected Date Range on the left panel indicates the range of the sales data that is being considered.
  • The total Extended Price over the range and the number of transactions are both displayed below the selected Date Range.
  • The graph at the top right displays the Extended Price by month by Warehouse for the selected Date Range – in this case there is only one warehouse but if there were multiple warehouses they would show as stacked bars.
  • The donut chart at the top left and the grid at the bottom left show the Extended Price broken down by Salesperson over the Date Range.
  • The bottom 2 selections at the bottom of the left hand panel control the breakdown by Product – select whether to look at top products or bottom products and select how many products to display.
  • The graph at the lower right displays the ranking of the top/bottom Products by Extended Price over the Date Range – by changing the Rank you can display up to the top 50 Products.

Drill Ups and Drill Downs

  • Hover over the top RHS graph to see the drill up and drill down options.

  • Click the upward-facing drill up arrow to see the data by year rather than month.

  • Click on the downward facing drill down arrow and then click on 2023 (say) to select.

  • The display shows 2023 by month.

  • Hovering over any month (e.g. Jun 2023) shows the actual data.

  • Click on a particular month (e.g., Jun 2023) to select and display the Product data and the Salesperson data for that month.

  • Click outside the month to return to the display of all months in 2023.
  • In this case Sales by Month is the lowest level of the data but if there were a lower level of data (e.g., sales by week) then clicking on the double downward facing arrow would display a lower level of data.
  • And the split downward facing arrow would drill down to a further level.

Salesperson Details

  • Click on the Salesperson Details button.

  • This grid breaks out the Extended Price over the Date Range by Salesperson by Year.
  • In this case there is only one Warehouse but if there were multiple Warehouses click on the Plus button to expand the Salesperson to see the breakdown by Warehouse.
  • Expand a Warehouse to see the breakdown by month.
