Packaging Type Value List

Accolent ERP allows users to create some standard Package Types commonly used for freight or shipping purposes. Once the Package Type value List is created, a default Package Type can be specified for the packing of outgoing orders or the default may be overriden and a new Package Type selected. Similarly, Package Types can be selected on POs or Containers

Package Type Value List

  • Use Value List to specify standard package sizes and weights

  • Once populated Package Type Value List will look like this:

Outgoing Shipments

  • The default Package Type can be specified on thee Configurations screen

  • The default Paching Type will automatically populate the drop down on the Packing screen
  • User can also override default value and select another Package Type
  • The Package Tpe will populate the package dimensions

 

Incoming Shipments

  • On the Create Container screen, specify Package Type to specify Container dimensions and Load weight
