Some Accolent ERP users rely on manual warehouse operations and, in particular, on physical pick tickets. To facilitate this, Accolent ERP includes a Pick Printed shipping sub-status that indicates whether a pick ticket has been printed for an order or not. When orders are moved to fulfillment and the pick ticket is either (i) printed automatically by the Auto Print functionality or (ii) printed manually, the new sub-status Pick Printed will be automatically assigned to the order. Fulfillment sub-statuses are indicated by icons displayed on the List Fulfillments screens.

Fulfillment Sub-Statuses

  • In fulfillment there are several sub-statuses that allow users to manage warehouse operations.
  • The wireless WMS system uses the fulfillment sub-statuses and barcoding to allow most warehouse operations (picking, packing, shipping, PO receiving, PO put-away and physical inventory) to be performed using handheld scanners.
  • The fulfillment sub-statuses are: Ready to Pick, Pick Printed, In Picking, Picked, Packed, Shipped.
  • These are the fulfillment sub-status icons:

  • If the wireless WMS system is being used, the sub-statuses will be automatically assigned; the wireless WMS system does not use printed pick tickets or the Pick Printed sub-status.
  • If the wireless WMS system is not being used, only two sub-statuses Ready to Pick and Pick Printed will be assigned automatically; other sub-statuses may be assigned manually.

Pick Ticket Printed Indicator

  • When orders are moved to fulfillment, they automatically have the sub-status of Ready to Pick.
  • When a pick ticket is printed by the Auto Print functionality or manually by clicking on the Print button, the sub-status will change from Ready to Pick to Pick Printed.
  • This Pick Printed sub-status is triggered whenever an order is moved to shipping and either (i) the Auto Print Pick Ticket option is enabled or (ii) the print icon on the right hand side of the List Shipments screen is used to manually print the pick ticket (this does not include downloading the pick ticket as a PDF).
  • With a manual process, the Pick Printed sub-status icon is a visually confirmation that pick tickets have been printed for all orders in fulfillment.
  • When the Pick Printed status is assigned, this icon appears on the List Fulfillments screen.

  • This same icon is also displayed greyed out on the top right of the Fulfillment screen.

  • And also, on the Manage Batches screen.

  • The icons on the Fulfillment screen and on the Manage Batches screen are used to manually assign sub-statuses.
